Who are you?

A man found an eagle’s egg and put it in a nest of a barnyard hen. The eaglet hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them.

All his life the eagle did what the barnyard chicks did, thinking he was a barnyard chicken. He scratched the earth for worms and insects. He clucked and cackled. And he would thrash his wings and fly a few feet into the air.

Years passed and the eagle grew very old. One day he saw a magnificent bird above him in the cloudless sky. It glided in graceful majesty among the powerful wind currents, with scarcely a beat of its strong golden wings.

The old eagle looked up in awe. “Who’s that?” he asked. “That’s the eagle, the king of the birds,” said his neighbor.
“He belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth—we’re chickens.”

So the eagle lived and died a chicken, for that’s what he thought he was.

EW:
Who are you? Who have those around you said you are? What limitations have you put on yourself or let others put on you? Who says that you can't do or be all that God created you to be? In school, my son was taught to change the phrase "I can't..." to "I can try..." The lesson made a difference in our lives too. You may have also told yourself or been told that "you can't." You may have even tried many things and not succeeded...yet. You need to realize that like Elbert Hubbard said: "There is no failure except in no longer trying." It is never to late to try - look within yourself, break away from those limitation and exploit your potentials. You can try...today is great time to try and before long you will be flying in the sky.

W.O.M.A.N.

Be a W.O.M.A.N

Woman
On a
Mission to
Achieve
New heights

Your mission is your calling. To achieve anything, you need to know what that mission is and then start (or continue) doing all you need to to "walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's service" (Eph 4:1 - Amp)

"When you discover your mission, you will feel its demand. It will fill you with enthusiasm and a burning desire to get to work on it." ~ W. Clement Stone

Like Wilma J. Brown said at another Women's Empowerment Conference, we must be fired up and get up to do what we need to. It may not be an emergency yet...but there is an urgency. So get up and get going...

Be a Woman On a Mission to Achieve New heights...
...the world awaits your manifestation.

Look inwards then step out...
