Be an EL

There is so much we can learn from the attributes and attitudes of many creatures both scripturally and physically - 2 of my favourite are the eagle & lion. Here are some quotes that sink deep and ring true for me:

 

Eagles come in all shapes and sizes,

You know, I’m an eagle, flying around in the mountains. ~ Link Wray

One lesson I learned last year (and I'm living this year) is:

You cannot conquer mountains by avoiding them.

A truly strong person does not need the approval of others any more than a lion needs the approval of sheep.

All these quotes are simply a reaffirmation of the Word of God:

Prov 28: 1b:
Good [righteous] people are as brave [confident] as a lion. (Expanded Bible)

Isaiah 40: 31:
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.

So who is an EL? An Empowered Lady (or Woman)...someone like you - yes YOU - who has Eagle and Lion atttributes and attitudes within...and without.

The world needs more ELs...so be one and mentor* more. Yes YOU can do it!
