Booster or Burster?

Do you know that what you believe (or even don't believe) can boost or burst your dreams? Indeed it can -  which is why you need to know and be sure about what you believe and especially Who you believe in.

A lot of us rely on others to tell us about ourselves and set various boundaries/walls that we need for us. Beside God, who knows better than you what you can or cannot do? Who else knows what makes you "come alive" or what your deepest heart desires are or simply who you want to be when you "grow up"? Personally, I'm really saddened by the fact that too many of us let others keep our potential under lock and key - because we are women. Indeed we are women and who said you cannot be a "high-flying" professional - in whatever field - who is so capable that she has the capacity to balance her life with her work?

I believe very strongly that once you are clear on your purpose in life, you can pursue it with passion because you'll have the right priorities. We really need to be careful what and who we listen to and believe. Too many of us rely on "they said" without taking the time to do our own research. Doing additional research does not mean that you do not believe or trust the person giving you the information. Ronald Reagan said: "Trust but verify." Even before his time, the Berean Christians did the same thing -Acts 17:11 says: "They were very willing to receive God’s message, and every day they carefully examined the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was true." (God's Word Translation)

The bottom line is that it's all up to you & you have 2 choices - to believe things that will boost you or things that will burst you. “You can change your beliefs so they empower your dreams and desires. Create a strong belief in yourself and what you want”* or you can live in disbelief and even fear - if that's your choice, remember that: “Fear does not have any special power unless you empower it by submitting to it.” So take F.F. Bosworth's advice: "Believe your beliefs and doubt your doubts" and make sure your beliefs are aligned with God's word and will for you.
